All at Gallopper are deeply saddened to hear about the passing away of renowned architect Zaha Hadid.
Zaha Hadid is the first sole woman to be awarded the UK’s highest honour for Architects. The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) have conferred the 2016 Royal Gold Medal to Zaha Hadid, given in recognition of a lifetime’s work. It is awarded to those who have had a significant influence either directly or indirectly on the advancement of architecture. In 2004, Hadid became the first woman to be awarded the Pritzker Architecture Prize.
